Alabama Department of Education is the First Educational Agency to Receive ISO Certification

Alabama career/technical education students are fortunate to have the leadership of major corporations when it comes to pro-viding highly qualified training for the future's workforce. Students in Alabama's public schools will now learn the valuable career skills they need in conducive classrooms. The Alabama Department of Education announced that its Business and Industry Certification (BIC) process, used to certify career/technical education programs for industry compliance, has been awarded certification from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Alabama's Department of Education is the only state-level educational agency in the nation to receive this certification.
